I figured I'd make another Adam Freeland fave post....first it was the bassbin twins aka pete houser and now it is EVIL 9!. I do miss their older style with the more breaks they added. Since their GU v.2, they have been on a different trajectory. Them and Ils made one of my fave breaks tune. Ils - Music (Evil 9's Punk Rock Remix)

lol what a fruitcake. the comments up there..WTF!!

Stollen

For real. W/out question, enthusiastic about his beats.

As for ILS, best work was from his '99 album that showcased the nu-skool sound intrinsic to Freeland's monstrous '97 EM. Took a while for him to put the white labels into album form (the '97 EM & Coastal Breaks discs contain several), while his DnB trax from the mid90s were themselves gnarly beasts.

Korean ladies are quite beautiful, South Korea itself nothing to sneeze at, landscapes & culturally rather unique, precious even. One has little difficulty understanding the transition from the southern UK's dingy nightclub scene to Han Bando.

totus tuus

ILS is making a comeback

I emailed the dude and he says yes he is in North Korea and my guess he is teaching English. He says he is going to make a comeback next year. I hope he and evil 9 and adam freeland get back to the 2002-2003 days where they made great shit.

speaking of ILS aka Illian Walker

It used to be Adam Freeland/Ils and Evil 9. The 3 (well 4 guys) went together and the Marine Parade before it went arse up and is now a part of the Hope family and I believe he is managed by them as well. He has dropped off the face of the planet. Seriously.......I checked his soundcloud page and he is in north korea......weird. Just like Lee Mullins quitting Hybrid and becoming a computer programmer.
