not bad

not a bad mix heard better from him

Metaphysical doubt

If ever there was a case where form & substance were clearly intertwined, this is it. The mix in question is not only slim on substance but also suggests FBSlim's form is dubious at best. Circa '96-'98 Norman Cook was dominating--& that was, to be sure, nearly 15 yrs ago. Some moderately entertaining FX tweaking going on in this mix, but beyond that...blaise. Given this sampling, I'd take Booka Shade at a festival over FBSlim w/out 2nd thoughts.

I have a soft spot for

I have a soft spot for fatboy too, also taking me back to my uni days wish I could have been there at Brighton. I still watch the video of the set so many people and those nutters sitting on those incredibly tall lights and the boats at sea..... This seems to be along those line...

Fatboy on Form

this is a good mix from Fatboy, the usual crazy stuff mixed live with precision, which is rare for him...

takes me back

to my uni days... this guy is still such a great club/festival dj. I still play his brighton beach album in my car. Love him or not, he makes people jump up and dance. Glad to see him showcase some newer stuff too (fake blood crookers).
