The City Parade will indeed take place despite the many fears that have arisen following its postponement from June 23 to September 8. Claude El Divino recently lifted the veil on the city that will host this great dance mass. The City Parade will therefore take place in the city of Doudou on September 8, 2007.
No less than 150,000 people are expected for the largest dance event in Belgium. This great electronic mass will have the theme this year "Make love not war" after "Love is the message" in 2005 and "Change the World" in 2006.
The City Parade will begin with its traditional Opening Party which will start at 4 p.m. at the Water Machine (Boulevard Dolez) to start at 6:30 p.m. in the Montais boulevards for a 2.5km course that will end on the Grand Prés site where from 8 p.m. the Closing Festival will begin, the only paid festival of the day ( Festival composed of laser show, giant screen, international and national DJs such as Green Velvet, Monika Kruse, Magnus, Claude Young, Technasia, Sharam Jey, DJ Ghost, Greg C, Furax, Ronald-V, Q-IC, D-Feat, Chicago Zone, Binum, DJ Dess, etc. A fireworks display is scheduled around midnight in front of the Lotto Mons Expo.
The 2007 edition is thus the 7th edition of the City Parade, which has already crisscrossed several Belgian cities, Liège (2001, 2002 and 2005), Ghent (2003 and 2004) and Charleroi (2006). The 2006 edition had brought together nearly 200,000 people. For 2008, Claude does not exclude the possibility of staying in Mons but he also does not wish to rule out other applications. Indeed, on September 8, delegations from Ostend, Hasselt, Genk and Antwerp will be present. Finally, only one question remains... Where are our Brussels politicians?
